Arthur Bach (Russell Brand) was born as the son of a wealthy. Since childhood, Arthur Bach did not ever feel the hard life. Everything was lacking and it all actually makes Arthur a man who had no responsibility. Everything went smoothly until one day when Arthur faced a very serious choice.
Arthur is known as a playboy did not ever have responsibilities. If nobody Hobson (Helen Mirren), who knows what would happen Arthur. Nanny who has been caring for Arthur since childhood it was always so protective Arthur. Now, Arthur faces a choice heavy. He must marry a woman who has been chosen by his family. If not, Arthur would be banned from the family and he would not get a dime.
Making a choice was not easy because Arthur had already fallen in love with Naomi (Greta Gerwig). Arthur was unable to separate from Naomi, but she also could not live without the wealth of his family. At end point, Arthur ultimately still chose Naomi.
